The June 2024 Application for Removal of Restrictive Conditions and a Consent Use on this property was considered by the Town Planning group. Various aspects were of concern but have now been resolved.,
The original Application for Removal of Restrictive Conditions and a Consent Use dated June 2024 was followed by a notice in the Provincila Gazette of 17 July 2024. The SAPRA Town Planning group (TP) had no special comments, especially as the business has been in operation for some time, and it is a matter of regularising the situation. The SAPRA Town Planner did have some technical queries and it was decided to discuss them with the Applicant's Town Planner. Included was a request to keep the Restrictive Condition that disallows the sale of alcohol.
Although the technical side is still questionable, it was agreed between SAPRA's Town Planner and TP that it is not upto SAPRA to sort out those sort of matters for the Applicant. Only the question of the sale of alcohol remained and today this has been agreed to by the Applicant.
