Application has been received by the City for the removal of restrictive conditions of the title deed.
The purpose of the application is to permit the conversion of the existing structure to provide for a dentist practice consulting rooms. The application can be read by clicking here.
SAPRA lodged an Objection in September 2023 which can be read by clicking here.
The Provincial Gazette notice on 14 February 2024 confirmed removing the restrictive conditions applied for. This indicated that the removal of the restrictive conditions was approved without consideration of the SAPRA objection and is therefore a procedural failure which would render the Provincial Gazette notice of 14 February 2024 invalid. This was the subject of an email to CoJ in March 2024. As no response has been forthcoming, a follow up will now be sent.
As there still has been no response from CoJ, a further follow-up email was sent on 17 July 2025.
