SAPRA have had some complaints from the City regarding the way some of our residents treat their toilets.
In removing blockages from the sewers the contractors have had to remove some very strange objects that have been flushed down the toilets, such as a plastic bag containing chicken pieces, a various collection of clothes and construction waste. Clearly, the sewers cannot cope with such items and inevitably become blocked to everyone's disadvantage.
